New Cards

Image
I've spent time making cards today just because I wanted to. I am entering both of them into a challenge. Will try and link to the challenges but it's been a long time since my last blog so hopefully I will remember. The first card I made was the forever friends card as I fancied making a valentines card as I plan to try and sell them so need to upload a few to ensure that I can get some orders. This one is in the I love promarkers challenge as it is anything goes and I have coloured the stamped image with my promakers. I've just bought the colours for the forever friends and had my first go with that. I have also entered this one for crafty cardmarkers who are doing the challenge first and last. So you have to enter your first card and your latest. My first card was a quick pyramage print and slapped onto some white card with only the embellishments that was on the printout. Here's my latest creation. It is very different to my usual make. I normally make very simple designs and try to keep it quite clear. This time I decided to change that. Some of the paper I used was RAK from a swap I hosted at crafts beautiful. I am entering 3 challenges with this one. The first is forever friends which is to follow the sketch this week. The 2nd is sophisicat's which is ribbon and buttons. The last challenge (but no means the least) is crafty cardmakers which is using a stamped image. I am delighted that crafty cardmakers put me in their top 3 last week with the autumn theme.

Autumn Bookmark

This is a bookmark I made for the crafts beautiful forum but it also fits in with the crafty cardmakers challenge this week. The image is from the joanna sheen cd - jayne netley mayhew. I love the images on this cd and found this lovely squirrel which I thought was very autumnal. A quick sorry that I can't look at others posts and make any comments but blogger is telling me that I am not following anyone.

Here's my challenge card for both Pollycraft Monday Challenge and Crafty Cardmakers Pollycraft wanted a furry friend so I chose their stunning dave the reindeer that they gave away. Crafty Cardmakers had a sketch to follow. Paper: Daisy and Dandelion Christmas Pad (red snowflake), gold mirror card, gemstone card Image: Dave the Reindeer from Pollycraft Colours: Promarkers I would also love to thank crafty cardmarkers for getting their prize (La Pashe) last week it arrived yesterday and I'm looking forward to playing with it this week.
