Not done much crafting today spent it playing with the puppy. I've managed to turn the heel. I struggled with this mainly due to not reading the instructions properly. So read a few blogs to make sure I got it and then looked at the instructions and realised I had misread it all. Ah well all sorted now.

Birthday card

Here's my latest creation. It is very different to my usual make. I normally make very simple designs and try to keep it quite clear. This time I decided to change that. Some of the paper I used was RAK from a swap I hosted at crafts beautiful. I am entering 3 challenges with this one. The first is forever friends which is to follow the sketch this week. The 2nd is sophisicat's which is ribbon and buttons. The last challenge (but no means the least) is crafty cardmakers which is using a stamped image. I am delighted that crafty cardmakers put me in their top 3 last week with the autumn theme.

My first makes.

Here is picture of all my first makes. I wanted to start this blog so I can see all my pictures in one place. This is my first necklace I ever made after I went to the gem 'n' beads fair at newton abbott racecourse. I made this by following instructions in a book. This was really easy to make and turned out well. My second necklace is this double standed one. I had flicked through the book and saw it talking about double standed necklace and decided to do something different. This worked out well at the time. It is not my favourite and one of the beads has broken, the quality was not great seen lots of cracks in the other ones now. My 3rd one I made was from the LGC magazine and I picked it up so that I could get some new ideas. I copied one of the designs in their and actually made my first set of earrings to go with it. Pyramage Card and Fimo Animals

I was bored last night and decided to do some crafting. I made my first ever card with an elegant lady. I love the colours of the background. I loved making the pyramage card as it looks great but is really simple when you can line up the parts. I finished this and got thinking that I like so many animal beads and they are normally glass but I thought I wonder if you can make them out of fimo. So I found some pictures as I need to see picture before I can create anything. I made the teddy bear first and then the cat. These are not cooked yet as I am going to make some more fimo before I put them in the oven so I am not wasting electricity
